The goal is to bring about a greater understanding of ourselves, address doubting, hurtful or anxious thoughts. It can be difficult to see alternatives and other perspectives, and other kinder ways to see ourselves. It can feel like a heavy weight and takes up way too much of our time.
Counselling can be liberating. There are so many times that we get stuck in a way of thinking and feeling about our lives. This has real impact. Just bringing about small positive change in one part of our life has a ripple effect on other parts of our life.
